TV show “Extra” has new Viking kitchen set:

The celebrity TV show "Extra" celebrated Food February last month and installed a complete Viking kitchen on their set. With the help of the 2007 Viking Featured Designer Nicole Sassaman, the set was designed and installed in only two weeks. Throughout February, guest chefs including Wolfgang Puck, Tyler Florence and Sandra Lee appeared on "Extra" in the Ultimate Viking Kitchen. Viking provided an induction cooktop, built-in oven, warming drawer, built-in microwave oven, dishwasher and freestanding refrigerator/freezer. Also provided was a set of cookware, cutlery and a suite of countertop appliances.

"Extra" airs in over 95 percent of the country on major affiliates like NBC, and their Web site receives over 6.5 million hits per month. The estimated audience viewership is nearly three million people. Sixth-generation Raffaele Boscaini hosts the evening, with samples of his family’s wines capped by the amarones, which chef Rathbun is pairing with braised veal cheeks au jus with Tuscan white bean purée and truffles, 6:30 p.m. Feb. 20; $210 plus tax and 20 percent gratuity.

NEW FOOD NETWORK show featuring VIKING products

Watch for Viking products to appear on the new show Down Home with the Neely’s on Food Network. Pat and Gina Neely and their family own and operate some of Tennessee’s best barbeque restaurants. The show joins them at home in Memphis where they create tasty dishes their whole family can enjoy, and share recipes for their famous restaurant dishes, along with family-friendly recipes.
