Chef Sharon Van Meter visits the White House today!

Chef Sharon Van Meter W.M.C.S. , Milestone Culinary Arts Center Executive Director, will be in Washington DC today to kick off a new component of Michelle Obama's childhood obesity initiative, called Chefs Move to Schools. She will join hundreds of other chefs who will gather at the White House to
launch a national adopt-a-school program highlighting healthy and delicious school options for school meals. The initiative will draw both the brightest stars of the culinary
universe — Rachael Ray, Tom Colicchio and Cat Cora — and the unknown
soldiers who staff corporate kitchens, food banks and culinary schools.

Look for her in her green Milestone Culinary Arts Center jacket on TV today!

ROHL’s IFF Wins DPHA Innovative Product of the Year Award

Each year at its conference, DPHA announces the Innovative Product of the Year Awards. These awards honor the creme de la creme of products released the previous year that are at the forefront of design and innovation in upscale plumbing and hardware. This year, the DPHA called in media and marketing luminaries to judge award nominees. A few of those luminaries hail from publications such as Kitchen & Bath Design News, Hospitality Design, The Architect's Newspaper and Dwell.
